All work is handmade and individual, while every effort is made to insure your order looks the same as the image viewed, slight variations are inevitable, and it does mean you will have a piece unique to you!

Shimara is happy to use your stones, either new ones you have, or from an existing piece of jewellery to create a beautiful new piece, unfortunately we can’t accept metal for melting down and re using. Rings should slide on easily over the knuckle and be a little more work to take off. The ring should be a snug fit that won’t slide off easily over your knuckles.
Please bear in mind that your finger size may change slightly throughout the day, and differ from winter to summer, depending on the temperature and amount of physical activity.
If you are unsure of your finger size, it is best to visit a local jeweller to get an accurate size.

Shimara can re-size most rings up or down, within a few sizes, with the exception of ’wrap’ rings, which can only be sized up. One free re size is complimentary with your order. Any subsequent resizing is charged at $40. For 18ct gold wrap ring resizing down, please contact Shimara for a quote as there may be additional charges.
If you would like a special message, significant date or name engraved on your piece of Shimara Carlow jewellery or silverware, please do contact Shimara for a quote, this can be organised for you using our wonderful local engraver.
All work is handmade in Shimara’s Melbourne, delivery times vary depending upon the item but please allow 2-4 weeks for regular items and 4-6 weeks for large scale jewellery and stone set jewellery, silversmithing work can take a little longer, particularly if gold plating is required, as this is done in the UK. Please do contact Shimara if you need the order for a specific date.
You can pay for your order securely using PayPal or all major Credit Cards. Alternatively contact Shimara Carlow to organise payment via bank transfer.
All jewellery is carefully packaged in branded boxes. The parcel is sent in an unbranded padded envelope with our name and address included on the reverse.
Australia Wide Delivery is free.
Australia Delivery is by Australia Post Express Delivery service. This is a trackable, next day service (in metropolitan areas).
The parcel will need a signature on arrival, so please ensure there is someone present to receive the goods. We are happy to deliver to a work address or PO Box, if waiting in is not feasible.
Standard International delivery is free for all orders over $300 otherwise it is $10.
International Delivery is by Australia Post International Registered service and is trackable. The delivery will take between 6-9 days. The parcel will need a signature on arrival, so please ensure there is someone present to receive the goods.
If you require a fast-tracked service Australia Post International Express is $20 and takes 2-4 days to metropolitan areas. Please contact Shimara to arrange express international delivery.
International delivery is the responsibility of the postal service in the destination country and we cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by the local country postal service or customs checks. Any import duties, sales taxes or other customs charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.
